Read Across America

I've know some of you have been wondering when room #3 will have a pajama party. (thank you for the comments)I've got one planned for Read Across America Day on March 2nd. We will bring our PJs and our favorite stories. I would love it if any parents can drop in at any time to read a story TO us!

And as the supermarkets are getting ready for Valentine's Day, I will also let you know that come Feb 14th. if you would like to send Valentines to your friends at school, you must bring a valentine for each student with their number marked clearly on the outside of the envelope (this is great number writing practice so parents, please don't do it FOR your child, have THEM write the numbers or "cubby addresses" as we will refer to them). There will not be a "party" because the following day will be a wonderful day long celebration of the 100th day of school. But more to come on that in the Feb. newsletter!
