Reading: We will be learning more sight words this month (can, my, like). These are words we memorize and do not try to sound out. They are the most frequently used words in our language. We will bring home little books that have these words in them.

Share Week of...
Nov.2nd - Free Share. Bring in a "secret" object of your choice hidden in a paper bag. Tell us at least 3 things about it. What is it used for? What is it made of? What does it look like (color,shape)? Where did you get it? etc. Can we guess what you brought?
Nov 8th- Family Holidays - how does your family celebrate?
Nov. 15th - What is your address - help your child memorize your address
Nov.22nd - NO SHARE

Social Studies: Family and America's Beginning:Pilgrims and Native Americans

Writing: We are using our new words I, see, can, went, my and like to write stories of at least 1 sentence. We are beginning to add details and a second sentence to our stories.
